The now famous Magnus the walrus has now arrived at his third location in Scotland, this time at Macduff Harbour.

The tusked mammal has been spotted in Orkney, Moray, and now Aberdeenshire.

The young male, measuring approximately 2.5 metres in length, has landed at his next location in Macduff.

Videos seen by the Press and Journal on social media show Magnus enjoying a splash in the water.

It is currently unknown if Magnus has came just to say hello, or will decide to take another snooze.

On Tuesday, hundreds gathered to take advantage of the potentially once in a lifetime opportunity to spot the marine mammal in Lossiemouth.

Lossiemouth Marina said at the time of his arrival that the public should keep well clear and remain quiet to avoid disturbing him.

Experts originally suggested to the P&J that Magnus was likely to return to Lossiemouth after feeding.

However, Dr Kevin Robinson, executive director at Cetacean Research & Rescue Unit said: “But where he goes next is anyone’s guess!”
