Egypt and Somalia strengthen diplomatic ties amid Horn of Africa stability concerns

Egyptian foreign minister Badr Abdelatty met with his Somali counterpart Abdisalam Abdi Ali in Cairo to discuss bilateral cooperation. Abdelatty urged Somali authorities to assist in securing the safe release of captured Egyptian sailors held nearby.
