President Nechirvan Barzani bids farewell to departing British Consul-General

President Nechirvan Barzani today received Andrew Bizley, British Consul-General in Erbil, as he paid a courtesy call marking the conclusion of his mission.

The President expressed his appreciation to Mr Bizley for his consistent contributions to ongoing relations between the United Kingdom and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, wishing him success in his future endeavours.

The outgoing Consul-General in turn thanked President Nechirvan Barzani and the relevant authorities of the Kurdistan Region for their support during his time in office. He reaffirmed the United Kingdom’s commitment to continued good relations with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
