Sudan conflict escalates as RSF shifts tactics

Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo issued a video message directing Rapid Support Forces fighters to change tactics immediately and reinforce frontline positions. He emphasized urgency and called for direct engagement as battlefield conditions evolved rapidly following recent developments across contested regions. Consequently commanders began repositioning units toward active combat zones while attempting to stabilize defensive lines under increasing pressure from opposing forces.

Meanwhile the Sudanese Armed Forces achieved notable progress in North Kordofan capturing strategic locations that strengthened control over key routes and supply corridors. Army units advanced into towns including Bara and Jabra al-Sheikh consolidating positions after confrontations with RSF fighters in the region.
