President Nechirvan Barzani and German Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy discuss bilateral relations

On the third day of the Munich Security Conference, President Nechirvan Barzani met with Katherina Reiche, German Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy.

Their discussions focused on advancing German economic ties with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, as well as promoting German investment across various sectors.

President Nechirvan Barzani thanked Germany for its continued backing of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, highlighting the Region’s interest in leveraging German knowledge and experience in the energy and economic sectors.
