The occupant and his three dogs made it safely to shore.
A campervan ended up on its side in the water after plummeting off the slipway on the Isle of Skye.
Kyle lifeboat was called out at 11.40am after reports a vehicle had entered the water at Kylerhea narrows area.
The lifeboat crew arrived in the area, which has extremely strong currents, 10 minutes later.
However, the man in the campervan and his three dogs had already safely made it to shore.
The lifeboat crew worked to ensure the fallen campervan would pose no further risk to the public, before leaving the scene.
Norman Finlayson, helm at Kyle RNLI said: ‘The emergency services received multiple reports of a campervan having entered the water in the Kylerhea narrows area, which is a stretch of water with extremely strong currents.
“We launched as quickly as possible, and when we arrived on scene, were glad to see that there was nobody trapped inside the vehicle, and the occupant and his three dogs were safely ashore.”
